What the banner is selling

Your plan, built from what you've already said

TO BUILD: this plan doesn't exist yet. The cover is a draft. Write the plan (6 to 8 pages) before the banner goes up. Everything in it below is already in your posts and on your site.

First Call, Not Fourth. The Supplier-of-Choice Plan.

For ag-facing businesses that are good at what they do but aren't the first call yet. Inside: the five steps from your December post (audit exactly where you are, get clear on your commercial direction, build the plan that bridges the gap, find the weakest commercial link, make your value proposition obvious to producers), why there's no such thing as a “typical” producer, trust before the buying decision, and the 1% case.

5 steps1 real case: $5M+ a year in pipeline“Serve the grower better and the sales will follow”

The one-shot DM

Send this to anyone who likes or comments on one of your posts, or anyone you've just connected with. Swap the highlighted bits for each person.

Your message

Hey [FIRST NAME] - I'm just about to head out to the paddock and thought I'd send this through to you quickly before I forget.

I saw you [liked / commented on] my post about [TOPIC] (or: thanks for connecting!), so I wanted to properly introduce myself.

I'm Bec. I'm a third-generation producer, still in the seat, and I run Lindert & Co. We help ag-facing businesses that are good at what they do become the first call for producers, not the fourth.

I took a look at your profile and your website, and you reminded me of [CLIENT: a business I work with, unnamed].

They thought they had a leads problem. They didn't. [RESULT: e.g. we found a 1% shift in their sales process that unlocked more than $5 million a year in extra pipeline].

The reason it works so well is because producers don't pick the cheapest option or the flashiest pitch. They choose the business they trust. So we build that trust before the buying decision, not during it, and make it easy for the producer to say yes.

It's taken me more than two decades across the paddock, the supply chain and the boardroom, plus building Australian Super Cotton from a farm product into a premium brand, to really dial this in.

And right now, we've got an offer where [THE OFFER].

As you can imagine, the "more ads, more reps, more volume" crowd isn't a big fan of us haha. But I don't mind, the more good operators producers actually trust, the better.

Anyway, I really gotta go, [the girls have ACTIVITY / the ewes won't check themselves].

I'd be happy to walk you through how it works? I've got [TIME 1] or [TIME 2] free tomorrow?

If not, no biggie at all. Happy to just send you my Supplier-of-Choice Plan instead.

Nice to meet you!

Cheers,
Bec

What goes in each gap

  • [TOPIC]: the post they reacted to. For a new connection, use “thanks for connecting!”.
  • [CLIENT] + [RESULT]: your site says the $5M engagement is confidential, so keep the business unnamed, for example “an established input business in [REGION]”. Use a different client if one fits this person better.
  • [THE OFFER]: whatever Lindert & Co is running now. Every engagement starts with a cooling-off period, which works as the offer line if nothing else is on.
  • [ACTIVITY] and the times: whatever is actually on, and two real slots tomorrow.
Before it goes live

Three quick checks

  • Two hats, one mouth. Your headline now reads “Trusted by Producers | CEO, Aussie Helpers”. Options 1, 2, 4 and 5 lead with Lindert & Co instead; option 3 keeps both. Pick the one you're comfortable with next to a DM call to action.
  • Write the plan first. Six to eight pages is enough. Don't put the banner up until you can send it the same day someone DMs “FASTTRACK”.
  • Move Lindert & Co up in Experience. It's fourth right now, under Aussie Helpers, the AgForce committee and Linview Ag. Put it second so people who click through see the business the banner is selling.
